Miley Cyrus, better know as Hannah Montana, has announced a special fall 2009 concert tour sponsored by Walmart. Miley is also using Ticketmaster’s revolutionary new ticketless entry on the new tour. To elimiate the number of tickets scalpers will get, Ticketmaster is requiring all ticket purchasers to show up on the date of the concert with a government identification and the actual credit card used to purchase the tickets. Ticket scalpers will probably find a way around the system, but if it works, it’ll be awesome. Miley is also preparing a special set and many different outfits. Miley’s previous tour the Hannah Montana Best of Both Worlds tour sold-out in record time and created a firestorm in the media over ticket scalping.

American Idol has announced the season eight version of the American Idols Concert Tour. The tour will hit most major cities in the US and Canada and will feature the top ten American Idol finalists. Tickets will hit the market beginning May 9th.
